We will spare no effort to have deliciously eat deliciously selected brand beef such as Wagyu, Omi beef, Kobe beef etc by professional skill! The only reason this place is this high rated in google is because they gave you 10% on the bill if you put a good review.This place is perfect for you if you want:- wait 1 hour for your plate because they serve people with a random order- eat a soso steak- watch lazy waitresses with no energyWaste of time. Run away from this place.

Arrived as the doors where opening at 5pm which was a good idea. This place is cramped which adds to the character. Service was good and staff were friendly. Beef was outstanding but pricey.

Hands down the the best beef I have ever eaten! I am not much of steak lover but both of the dishes I had were prepared with such care and presented so beautifully. Loved every bite of it. The prices at this restaurant are a bit on the expensive side but the quality of the food explains exactly why that is. Would 100% for a special dinner in Kyoto.

the food presentation is good and the staff also. They serve Kobe and Wagyu meat. It is pricey but I liked my stay there. There is also a 250JPY for the table seat per person and they give you Wagyu raw meat with parmesan, its was nice.the place is full and it add to the character

The steak is perfect, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I strongly recommend this place. The ext time I go to Tokyo, I will definitely visit here again.

Walking past this Steak Bar in Kyoto's unique Pontocho, I was surprised by the affordable prices they offer for Wagyu Beef, and the Oumi Beef 近江牛 is a bargain. The Entree of ¥250 Wagyu Beef ham is excellently topped with Grated Parmesan. The must order here is the Grilled Wagyu Beef sushi which was flavorful for only 580 Yen. I ordered the above said Oumi Wagyu Beef steak (Uchi Hira), which is part of the Leg x Rump muscle cut. It was tender but full of both Meat and Marbled Wagyu oil flavor! Highly recommended

Pleasantly surprised. As we entered we were welcomed with a 250Â¥ cover charge per person which covered the cost of a prosciutto (closer to rare beef slices) appetizer. We proceeded to order the Kobe beef Spencer roll cut and the anchovie broccoli. Both were tasty and the Kobe beef had good texture to it!

This is a nice place that serves good meat. There are two kind of meat: standard Japanese beef and Kobe Beef. Kobe costs 10 times regular beef. The waitress knew no English but did get the fact we didn’t want Kobe (at $1800 per KG). All (almost all) cuts come in the two beef options. Apparently fillet doesn’t - we ordered it with 2 other cuts and ended up with Kobe on the check. The restaurant didn’t recognize the error or suggested to reduce the check. I view this behavior as unfair and basically dishonest. When you sell essentially jewelry you can’t have stuff that can’t communicate and doesn’t triple check what a customer wants to buy. Be careful.

Wow! This place was amazing! We would eat here every day if we could. The staff was very knowledgeable about the different cuts of beef. We had the rump roast and top roast. And Cesar salad, and hot shrimp and octopus. We went back twice more during our short stay to eat this delicious food.

What a great steak! My family and I had a great dinner here. They serve Kobe, however it is too expensive as this is certified restaurant (150€+ for 100g). We had classic Japanese steaks (10€+ for 100g) which were fantastic. All served rare by default with various sauces.We definitely recommend!

Food was so delicious we ordered another plate. Charming restaurant with great service, if your looking for a good steak come here. We tried the #9 and #4 along with a Cesar salad and fries. Also, try not to come with big bags or backpacks there is no room for it and you could possibly knock over someone's glass as we witnessed.

What a lovely evening and experience. Great place, food, staff. It’s a must go while you’re in Kyoto. At least for me, it was really nice to see that Japan is not only about sushi and see food. They know how to cook beef as well.
